The phone number 0888-888-888 has been permanently suspended in Bulgaria after four people who had it assigned to them died in mysterious circumstances.

The first person to die due to the curse was a man named Vladimir Grashnov. Vladimir just happened to be the CEO of Mobitel, the company that issued the phone number. He took a liking to the unique phone number and decided to claim it for himself.

Unfortunately he died at just 48 years old of cancer rumored to have been caused by radiation exposure inflicted by a business rival.

The second victim of the cursed phone number was a Bulgarian mafia boss named Konstantin Dimitrov. He was killed by gunshot in 2003. His death was suspected to be the result of something going wrong in his $500 million drug-smuggling operation. He died at just 31 years old, shot while eating dinner at a restaurant, the cell phone with the cursed number in his hand.

The third and final victim of the cursed phone number was a dodgy real estate agent named Konstantin Dishliev. He was assassinated while standing outside an Indian restaurant in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. Reportedly he had been running a huge cocaine trafficking operation which is thought to be related to his murder. He also died with the phone with the cursed number on his person.

After the third death Mobitel cancelled the number and refuses to comment on it to the public. If you call the number you will be greeted with a message claiming the cursed number is not connected to any network.
