In January 2019 Elizabeth Barraza was shot at point blank range while setting up for a garage sale in her driveway in Tomball, Texas. Police still do not know who would do such a thing or why.
Who was Liz Barraza?
Elizabeth “Liz” Barraza was a normal 29 year old woman. She had a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and was married to her college sweetheart Sergio Barraza.

The couple did not have any children but had a dachshund named Diesel. Liz and Sergio both loved Harry Potter, renaissance fairs and Star Wars. They owned their home in Princeton Place where Liz was murdered.

Liz Barraza was found dead in her driveway after being shot four times by an unknown assailant.
Liz had been setting up a garage sale to try and raise money for wedding anniversary trip for her and her husband. They were planning to go to Florida to see Disneyworld.
Surveillance footage from a neighbors doorbell camera showed Liz preparing the garage sale when a 2013 or newer Nissan Frontier Pro X4 Crew Cab vehicle pulls up.
A suspect leaves the vehicle and approaches Liz who is seen giving them a friendly greeting. The suspect then shoots Liz four times at point blank range before fleeing the scene.
A few minutes later the same car drives slowly passed again presumably checking that Liz is actually dead.
Who could have killed Liz Barraza?
Despite having clear footage of the incident police have been able to identify the person in the surveillance footage who killed Liz. A $50,000 reward has been offered for anyone who can identify the killer.
Some people online have speculated that Elizabeth’s husband Sergio may have hired a hitman to kill her. There were rumors circulating that Sergio was having an affair and that the woman he is now engaged too would fit the description of the assailant in the video.
Another theory is that the assailant was someone Liz knew from her work at the hospital. Some believe that the murderer looks like they are wearing a hospital gown.
It has been nearly four years since Elizabeth Barraza’s death and it is still not known who killed her and why.
