Don’t Panic
The worst thing you can do in this situation is panic. Spirits, ghosts and evil entities feed off of negative or fearful energy. The best thing you can do is stay calm and keep a clear head. Remember ghosts live in a different realm to us and can’t hurt us. All they can do is scare us and if you don’t let them do that they have no power over you.
Firmly Ask Them to Leave
You don’t need to hire someone to come and take care of your ghost problem. All you need to do is firmly tell the spirit it is not welcome and ask it to leave. Say something like “This is my house and ghosts are not welcome here. Go!”
Invoke a Higher Power
Many paranormal experts believe it helps if you invoke a higher power when telling a spirit to leave. For example if you a Christian you might like to tell the spirit to leave in the name of Jesus. If you don’t really believe in anything you might like to invoke your ancestors by saying something like ”This house belongs to me and is protected by my ancestors. Evil spirit you are not welcome!”
Perform a cleansing ceremony
Once you have told the spirit to leave you might like to perform a cleansing ceremony to restore the energy of your home to be more positive. This could be as simple as saying a prayer for happy energy and safety in your home. You might even like to cast a protective spell or use some incense to cleanse the space.
